Some years ago when I first started to collect tableware I decided that someday I could have a dozen around my table for dinner so I have always bought things in twelves. I have twelve place settings for my flatware, twelve place settings of Christmas dishes, twelve round and twelve square appetizer plates, twelve individual souffles...you get the idea. I love dishes. I love collecting dishes. I love cooking for others. I don't entertain a lot but when I do I will share here all the details.
